Who can Ample Care support in Melbourne's West?
We support NDIS participants who are self-managed or plan-managed across Melbourne's west, including the Wyndham and Hobsons Bay areas. Our team helps with daily living and personal care, building everyday living skills, getting out into the community, short-term respite, transport, and coordinating supports. We're a local, person-first team — and our registration with the NDIS Commission is currently being assessed.

Our registration status

In plain language

We believe in being upfront. Ample Care Group Support Services Pty Ltd has applied to register with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission and is currently "to be registered" — our application is being assessed. While our registration is being assessed, we can support participants whose plans are self-managed or plan-managed. We are not yet able to support NDIA-managed (agency-managed) participants, because that requires full registration.

If you're not sure how your plan is managed, that's completely normal — give us a call on 0450 272 125 and we'll help you work it out. There's no pressure and no cost to ask.

Choosing a provider

Green flags and red flags

Whether you choose us or someone else, here's what to look for.

Look for

  • They're clear about their NDIS registration status and what it means for you.
  • They explain things in plain language and never rush you.
  • They put your goals at the centre, not their roster.
  • They're happy for you to ask questions, get a second opinion, or take your time.
  • Their workers are screened, trained and a good personal fit for you.

Be cautious of

  • Vague or exaggerated claims about being “fully registered” when they're not.
  • Pressure to sign a long service agreement quickly.
  • No clear answer about who will actually be supporting you.
  • Promises about funding or plan outcomes that no provider can guarantee.
  • Hard-to-reach support when something goes wrong.

What clients say

We were drowning in paperwork and didn't understand our NDIS plan at all. Ample Care's support coordinator walked us through everything — what our budget meant, how to find the right providers in Wyndham, and how to request a plan review when our needs changed.

★★★★★

After struggling with unreliable providers, we found Ample Care Group Services and everything changed. Their daily living support workers are consistent, caring, and actually show up on time.
