Some of the most important support is also the most everyday: a hand getting showered and dressed, help preparing a meal, a steady routine that makes the day work. Assistance with daily living is the heart of what we do.
This page explains what it covers, who it's for, and how good daily support keeps you as independent as possible.
What is assistance with daily living under the NDIS? Assistance with daily living is everyday, hands-on support with personal activities — like showering, dressing, grooming, toileting, meal preparation and daily routines — delivered with dignity and an eye to keeping you independent. It's one of the most common NDIS supports and is typically funded from your Core budget. Support can be a few hours a week or daily, depending on your plan.
